this will be my last monthly playlist post as i don't think i'll be doing this again for 2024.

it was fun to add the songs but i only really went back and listened to the first two playlists i made last year and i feel like that's an important thing for me, the desire to listen again. i spent more time listening to my specific fandom/fic/vibe playlists than anything else so i think that's what i'll stick with from now on. maybe i'll do this again in the future but for now, this is the end!

i'm a little behind again (read: a lot behind) but i'm here with my last two check-ins for the year! i went well over my goal and i'm really proud of myself for how much work i've gotten done and how quickly i've been able to get over writer's block when it rears its ugly head as it often does.

things have been a little rough in my day to day life so writing has been a bit of a struggle. i did manage to get started on my taejoon fest fic and will hopefully have it finished before the end of the month! also, i told myself i wasn't going to claim from anymore fests until i finish my wips but i did it anyway and claimed something for the bts alpha knot fest! it isn't due until march which is how i justified it to myself. either way, i'm very excited for my idea!

my vmin lemon fest fic was finally revealed and you can read that here! i'm so happy with how it turned out and hope everyone enjoys it as much as i enjoyed writing it!

i cannot even begin to explain to y'all how many times i listened to "jane" by laundry day this month. that song has been stuck in my head almost constantly. it just feels so nice on my brain. on top of that, my niece's new fave song is "i'm just a kid" by simple plan so we've been listening to that all the time too. i also listened to the new nightly album and eric nam for like five days straight, each, all day. needless to say, my monthly stats for spotify are wild.

september was a good writing month! i managed to finish my vmin lemon fest fic which should be revealed soon and i'm actually really happy with it. i'm behind on starting my fic for taejoon fest, only have the outline done at this point, but i'm really looking forward to writing it. it's going to be ridiculous and wonderful.

i'm keeping the post short this time because i really don't know what else to say. i'm working hard on my taejoon fic, my zine fic and an exchange fic for the discord server i'm in. i'll see y'all at the end of october with some new fics to read!

hello i'm late with this post again but this time its because my mom had surgery and i've been taking care of her over the weekend. she's doing good and is back home now.

BUT!!! 🎉🎉 i hit my goal for the year!! 🎉🎉

and i have no plan to stop so maybe next year i'll choose a bigger goal for myself? that seems like a good idea, i think. in other news, i applied for my first zine and was accepted! i'll be writing for the sfw yoonmin section of Cosmos Zine and i am so incredibly excited and also a little nervous! i honestly thought i was going to get rejected so it was a very nice surprise. i'll be working on that over the next couple of months and i'm really looking forward to it! i'm also almost done with my vmin lemon fest fic. its due in a few days but hopefully i'll be able to make it!

this post is a couple days late because i have been *jazz hands* depressed. i didn't hit my goal for camp nanowrimo this month because i had writer's block like 80% of the time. still, i tried! and i've been making progress with my fic for vmin lemon fest the last couple of days. hopefully i'm coming out of the funk i've been in.

halfway through the year and i've almost hit my goal for the year! that's honestly so wild to me! i'm still struggling with finishing part two of A Wildflower Bloomed but hopefully i'll have it done before the end of july! even though i didn't finish it, i did finish a little horny fic for a friend. you can read it on ao3.

aside from the vmin lemon fest, i've also decided to participate in taejoon fest and i'm really excited about my prompt for it. i just hope that the prompter enjoys what i've come up with (here's a hint: bigfoot). hopefully going to get working on both of those in the next couple of weeks. i would like to finish part two of AWB first but we'll see.

my fic for rkive fest was finally revealed and i was pleasantly surprised by how well it was received. although, to be honest, this is part of what is holding me back from finishing part two of the fic. i'm worried that it won't be as good as the first part and that everyone will be disappointed. but if you're interested, you can read A Wildflower Bloomed on ao3 and share it on twitter!

i spent the entire month focusing on my fic for the rkive fest. i wanted to finish the entire fic but it kind of got away from me (meaning that it grew and grew) so i'm going to break it into two parts and submit the first part tomorrow. hoping to get the second part done by the end of may. so that's what i'll be focusing on next month.

i've been taking a break for the last couple of days to give my brain some time to refresh and i'm excited to get back into my story. can't wait to see what everyone thinks after fic reveals happen! also, i really can't believe i wrote over 20k this month. that's the most i've written in a single month in a very long time. i'm excited to see what i accomplish in may.

can y'all believe it's already april? i definitely cannot. you know what else i can't believe? how much i wrote in march!

i am well past my goal for the month. sitting at almost 30k when my goal for the end of march was only 19k. i'm over 11k past my goal! i'm actually really proud of myself. not only did i finish my first social media au (which you can read here if you'd like!) but i also finished outlining my rkive fest fic and wrote quite a big chunk of it! i think its going to end up being incredibly long so i'm hoping that i can finish it before the 24th of april. i'm aiming for the 20th so that i'll have a few days to edit and get it ready for posting.

i'm surprised that i did so much better this month but i owe it all to the namgikook one-shot i finished. it is nearly 6k of pure filth and it was a lot of fun to write. it definitely helped get me out of the funk i was in. you can read it on ao3 if you're interested and maybe share it on twitter!

the only thing i'm really struggling with this month is my fic for rkive fest. the story feels really big and important and i'm worried that i won't do it justice. but i am determined to write it so i will keep trying.

anyway, i think we can easily say that february was a success! i caught up on my word goal for the year and i'm feeling pretty good about what i've written. i'm excited to keep writing too!
