look at the forest, look at the wildflowers

things have been a little rough in my day to day life so writing has been a bit of a struggle. i did manage to get started on my taejoon fest fic and will hopefully have it finished before the end of the month! also, i told myself i wasn't going to claim from anymore fests until i finish my wips but i did it anyway and claimed something for the bts alpha knot fest! it isn't due until march which is how i justified it to myself. either way, i'm very excited for my idea!

my vmin lemon fest fic was finally revealed and you can read that here! i'm so happy with how it turned out and hope everyone enjoys it as much as i enjoyed writing it!

hello i'm late with this post again but this time its because my mom had surgery and i've been taking care of her over the weekend. she's doing good and is back home now.

BUT!!! 🎉🎉 i hit my goal for the year!! 🎉🎉

and i have no plan to stop so maybe next year i'll choose a bigger goal for myself? that seems like a good idea, i think. in other news, i applied for my first zine and was accepted! i'll be writing for the sfw yoonmin section of Cosmos Zine and i am so incredibly excited and also a little nervous! i honestly thought i was going to get rejected so it was a very nice surprise. i'll be working on that over the next couple of months and i'm really looking forward to it! i'm also almost done with my vmin lemon fest fic. its due in a few days but hopefully i'll be able to make it!

halfway through the year and i've almost hit my goal for the year! that's honestly so wild to me! i'm still struggling with finishing part two of A Wildflower Bloomed but hopefully i'll have it done before the end of july! even though i didn't finish it, i did finish a little horny fic for a friend. you can read it on ao3.

aside from the vmin lemon fest, i've also decided to participate in taejoon fest and i'm really excited about my prompt for it. i just hope that the prompter enjoys what i've come up with (here's a hint: bigfoot). hopefully going to get working on both of those in the next couple of weeks. i would like to finish part two of AWB first but we'll see.

anyway, here is my monthly breakdown:

i'm surprised that i did so much better this month but i owe it all to the namgikook one-shot i finished. it is nearly 6k of pure filth and it was a lot of fun to write. it definitely helped get me out of the funk i was in. you can read it on ao3 if you're interested and maybe share it on twitter!

the only thing i'm really struggling with this month is my fic for rkive fest. the story feels really big and important and i'm worried that i won't do it justice. but i am determined to write it so i will keep trying.

anyway, i think we can easily say that february was a success! i caught up on my word goal for the year and i'm feeling pretty good about what i've written. i'm excited to keep writing too!
